While Ashanti's Treats officially opened in 2020, Ashanti Long has been serving his family and community baking cakes and pies for over 15 years. His warm homemade desserts have been known to consist of eclectic ingredients that leave the best bakers puzzled wanting more; including his 'famous' butter cake. His wife is his inspiration, as her sweet tooth has encouraged him to experiment with delicious new ingredients. When outside of the kitchen, he can be found coaching his teenage son in basketball, football or playing golf with friends. He loves to travel with his family, meeting new people and experimenting with new dessert ideas.
